Applying to drive with Zoomy
You choose the kinds of work you want, apply in Zoomy Driver, and complete the requirements the app shows for the work you chose. Zoomy reviews each kind of work separately.
This page explains what applying involves. Reading it doesn’t start an application, and it doesn’t mean you’re approved or that work is waiting.
Here’s what applying involves

What that looks like part-way through

Requirements can vary by area and kind of work, and they can change. Zoomy Driver shows the current ones when you apply.
When something is being reviewed
Some of what you finish then has to be looked at. When that happens it leaves your to-do list, so the list only ever holds things that need you.
It isn’t unfinished work
Something being reviewed shows as being reviewed, not as something you still have to do. There’s nothing to complete while it’s there.
You can keep going
While something is being reviewed, you can keep working on other steps that are currently available to you.
If a check requires a payment
Zoomy Driver shows the current amount and what it covers before you pay anything. Paying means the check can start. It doesn’t mean it has passed.
We don’t publish how long a review takes. Zoomy Driver shows where each kind of work you applied for currently stands.
Some kinds of work may be approved before others
There is no single “approved” switch. Zoomy reviews each kind of work you applied for on its own, so they can sit at different points at the same time.

If a requirement is missing or has expired, it affects the kinds of work that depend on it, not everything you applied for.
Changing the types of work you’re interested in does not reset unrelated completed requirements. If something later expires, changes or needs renewal, Zoomy Driver shows it.
After a kind of work is approved
Approval for a type of work closes the application-review part for that work, but separate readiness steps can still remain.
There can be readiness steps
Being approved for a kind of work isn’t the same as being ready to work. Zoomy Driver shows anything else that’s needed. Payout setup comes after approval, and isn’t part of applying.
Then you can look at opportunities
Zoomy Driver can show opportunities you may be eligible to request. You request the role you want, and the app shows whether it becomes assigned work.

Do completed items disappear?
No. They stay visible in your application so you can see what you’ve done, not just what’s left.
What will I actually be asked for?
It depends on your area and the kinds of work you choose. The categories are identity; screening or checks, when required; vehicle, equipment and documents, when required; and skills or training, when required. Zoomy Driver shows the current requirements when you apply.
Does applying mean there’s work waiting for me?
No. Zoomy doesn’t guarantee work, hours or earnings. Zoomy Driver shows the current application options for your area, and opportunities you may be eligible to request.
