Getting physical things moved is one of the last everyday services where the buyer commits first and learns the real cost later. Quotes turn into surprises, arrival times turn into windows, and the person doing the work is a stranger whose incentives you cannot see. Zoomy exists to run this market the way you would want it run: price first, then booking, then a job you can watch happen.
How the marketplace is built
Zoomy does not own trucks or employ crews. It is a platform where drivers take the jobs customers post, and the economics are published rather than hidden: the driver pool keeps 57% of every fare. A driver who is paid fairly and rated transparently has every reason to treat your sofa like their own — that alignment is the product.
What every job includes
The same mechanics apply to a single mattress and a full apartment: the price is shown before you book and does not move afterward, the job is tracked live on a map, the crew records photos at pickup and drop-off, and payment happens in the app through Stripe.
